“Matters of the heart” is all about the complexity of Love. Each pattern represents a different layer of love. A new emotion that can be provoked by Love. We all know Love is am extremely complex emotion when broken down leads to other emotions & feelings like lust, passion, fear, butterfly’s(that fluttery feeling), peace, kindness, compassion, jealousy, anger and other so on… That’s what this illustration is about. The tentacles represent the grip love has, A sort of hold but they are not clinging on as the heart is happily seated in the midsts of all these emotions. I hope this gives you an idea of what I was going for and you enjoy looking and making your own decisions about what it means etc…

“Awaken”.. Blue?
:D Thought I would Mix it up and try with some colour… Only thing I didn’t want to ruin the image so I just played around with colours in photoshop. I surprisingly like this. I love the confidence of the blue. I honestly didnt think it would work as the black and white usually go so well. Hmmm… have to see which one I decide upon but this one is tipping the scales! Enjoy :)
This is a new piece that I have been working on. This piece called “Awaken” Its all about expanding your mind. Not necessary spiritually but just through Knowledge as we all Knowledge is a powerful tool! I Took a few close up shots, to try and get some of the detail in. It is very unfinished.
I am a bit stuck on it, as I am trying to find some inspiration in what to do with it next I have been experimenting with colour but I do like the strength of just black an white.
I will get there and finish it. This along with the rest of the new work will be put on my site available for purchase as affordable print’s.

All done :D This illustration is called “The Soul praedationem”. Praedationem is latin for Predation/Predator. This image is definitely a metaphor, I always see octopus’s as a sort of lecherous soul sucking creature, Albeit fascinating. The eyes are considered to be the “window into the soul”. The octopus is metaphorical figure for all that is wrong with our government.
Its sucking the life out of the eyeball, squeezing its essence out (the black stuff dripping off the eye) portraying how the government and mass media is taking the life out of the very core of its society soul, filling it with poison. I cant fully describe it as I was in a strange thought process of what I wanted at the time… Also it makes more sense in my mind :s All I can say is try to be free of this Government, follow your dreams. The world needs more dreamers.
Anyway I’ll stop rambling. I really hope this gives you a good insight into what I was trying to portray though I will try and write a better explanation for you all lol.
